Welcome

I’m a licensed psychotherapist, working with adults, couples, and teens. My approach is non-pathologizing, meeting each client as a whole person and understanding symptoms as natural responses to life's challenges.

With a compassionate presence and forward-thinking methods, I help clients access their intrinsic ability to heal and grow.

Essential elements of my work

Emotionally Attuned. Attunement in therapy builds trust and provides a foundation for growth. When I collaborate with a client, I align with their experience, creating a space where they feel understood and accepted for who they are.

Somatic. Emotions live in the body as well as the mind. My somatic methods include talk but engage the intelligence of the body as a second channel of information. This process offers a safer, more intuitive way of repairing relational injuries and trauma.

Informed by Research. I offer techniques grounded in mental health research, including up-to-date studies in memory, neuroplasticity, and mechanisms of change. It’s a process that includes experiential methods to unlock long-standing issues.

Key ideas

  • The mind and body are biologically wired to heal.

  • Reprocessing memories can resolve trauma.

  • Therapy must be adaptable to meet unique needs.
